Hot off the press we have April's edition of The Link that covers the candidates for the upcoming 2012-2013 term for the Vancouver Chapter.
You are invited to write an article for The Link. It could be a book report, MS Office tips and tricks, what membership in IAAP means to you, or another related business topic. We would be happy to hear from you! Please contact Editor
Julia Tennant, CAP if you have any questions or would like more information about writing an article for The Link.
And for your reading pleasure, also attached is our
APD 2012 Supplement. We had a glorious breakfast, organized by our APD 2012 Committee Chair Elizabeth Faber, CAP-OM and her stalwart companions on the APD Committee. If you didn't have a chance to join us this year, mark your calendar for next year's APD, which is April 24 - you definitely don't want to miss another APD with IAAP - a remarkable association!
=========================================================
The Link is published ten times a year, plus supplements covering events such as our Administrative Professionals Day event and the BC-Washington Education Forum. We also publish a Summer Supplement reporting on our June Chapter meeting, the Canada Divisions Conference, and the Education Forum and Annual Meeting (EFAM).
The Link is one way to share your expertise, not only within the Chapter but within IAAP internationally. The Link is available to the general public through our website and is uploaded to the Newsletter Editors eGroup on the HQ website. And, publishing an article in The Link is one of the criteria to qualify as a Member of Excellence!
A style guide will be issued shortly. In the meantime, here are some guidelines:
- Articles must be 350 or fewer words;
- Articles must be received by the specified deadlines;
- Articles should address work-related issues; and
- Articles are subject to Editor and Executive Council approval.
We look forward to receiving your submissions for The Link. Thank you! The Editor
